A Couple of Swells
This design came about after seeing a pair of these antique porcelain lions in a magazine, proudly positioned in pride of place on a mantle piece. It was the expressions on their faces which completely charmed me and won me over. The one on the left looks totally indignant while the other looks slightly surprised but also rather indifferent all at the same time.
Each of these antique porcelain lions possesses its own quirky little character which I hope will charm and delight you too. They have been drawn in a loose free style to emphasise their sense of whimsy.
