A Twist on a Classic Duo - A Playful Card Reimagined
Introducing my "Jack and Jill" playing card print, a whimsical reinterpretation of the classic Jack or Knave card. In this artwork, I wanted to not only represent the usual ‘Jack’ character but add in his opposite ‘Jill’ from the famous nursery rhyme of the same name.
I felt that it was about time that both were represented together on a playing card. Jack is Jill and Jill is Jack.
Pink & Blue
Using a colour palette of both blues and pinks, the two colours that have become synonymous with male and female genders, I hope I have managed to blend the two happily together.
