I created this print originally as a large window display for our shop to celebrate the coronation of Charles III. Not wanting to go down a traditional route I started thinking about the word 'King', and of course for many people that title will always be the one given to Elvis the King of Rock & Roll. Huzzah!
And so a stamp design, which of course always has the monarch's image on it, and coloured red, white & blue, was born.
It proved to be very popular and we had one customer who came in to explain that they were a massive Elvis fan and even had a life size cut out cardboard Elvis in their bedroom. That's dedication for you.
